Glen Rumpel

Director

Board Member since 2016

My first recollection of an alcoholic was my father when I was around six. That same year he joined AA, got sober and went on to live an incredible rewarding life. He often said that the program saved his life. I guess you could say I followed in my father’s footsteps finding sobriety at the age of 34. The last 28 years have been a constant reminder of what one can achieve when you get clean. I have witnessed firsthand what addiction looks like in the eyes of a family. I have lost a son and brother to drugs. If my being on the board of Fresh Start results in saving just one soul from the disease of addiction and then I will consider my time well served.

Jan Gryckiewicz

Director

Board Member since 2016

Addiction has impacted both my personal and business life .. I would like to help both the addict and their families battle this terrible disease and the epidemic it has become.

Lisa Howland

Director

Board Member since 2021

“I have a strong passion for mental and physical health and helping those in need gain access to the necessary resources. Through personal experience and family tragedy, I came to realize that a large gap exists in the form of treatment, recovery and prevention of addiction. Fresh Start is doing a wonderful job at bridging that gap. It provides their clients with the means to get back on their feet and assists with long-term recovery and family support to create lifelong success stories.”
