FROM OUR BLOG

Blog post summary picture

As many of you know, we have started our social enterprise venture by joining the ranks of the awesome food trucks here in Calgary.   We are kicking off our first full season and would like to give our supporters the first opportunity at booking us.  Last year we served at many private events as well as workplace lunch and learns. This is a great way to introduce your coworkers and community to the gifts of recovery and the Fresh Start movement.  They will be able to enjoy a recovery themed meal and they will know that when they eat with us, they are DOING GOOD with all profits helping more men and families get well.

UPCOMING EVENTS

START DATE - Family Healing Program

Feb-28-2019
6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

411 41st Ave NE

For every single person with an addiction that struggles with the disease, there is a also a multitude of people that are also suffering. The torture of helplessly watching the erosion of a loved one’s life is devastating. If you have a person with a substance use disorder in your life, you likely know the feelings of helplessness, despair, and resentment. The good news is; you don’t have to live in the shadow of addiction. Our Family Healing Program (FHP) helps those who are closely associated with someone who is in their addiction (or recovery) deal with the effects of addiction on them and learn how to live in recovery also. Our FHP runs over a five week period, one night a week. It is imperative to attend all five weeks in order to understand and process all of the information.
