Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

“The spirit of Christmas is the spirit of love and of generosity and of goodness. It illuminates the picture window of the soul, and we look out upon the world’s busy life and become more interested in people than in things”. Thomas Merton

Each holiday season we experience people bringing their best selves forward.  Its almost as if the twinkling lights, the thoughtfulness, the gatherings, the year coming to a close cultivates a deeper well of present moment and connection within us all. With this decade coming to a close and a new decade beginning we want to express our sincere gratitude to our family, friends, board members, staff, volunteers, inspired leaders, helpers, game changers and recovery warriors.

The Fresh Start movement is a mosaic of us all. We could not do what we do without you – -Our intention is to keep recovering lives, restoring families and continue to build upon a network of recovery champions to build a recovery oriented system of care for us all to thrive in. We are so grateful to have you part of out team and in our lives. What you do and who you are makes a difference!

We wish you a blessed holiday season.  Our centre will continue to be open during the holidays, so if you need some love or have some love to give, pop in for a visit, coffee or a meal.  If you or a loved one is struggling, you can reach out by phone 403-387-6266 or by email.

Kindest Regards,

Mr. Stacey Petersen RSW

Executive Director

Mission Fit

Ron Jarrett, owner of Mission Fitness is what a committed and helpful community partner is all about. He trains the clients in the house weekly and believes that true strength and progress can only be made from a solid foundation.  That foundation includes alignment, mobility and stability, and must address any muscular imbalances, weaknesses and lack of connection.  Achieving this level means the body is able to progress safely without fear of injury. www.missionfit.ca
