Happy Blessed Merry Christmas

addiction, calgary treatment centre, family healing, recovery

As Christmas draws nearer we want to let you know how grateful we are to share connection and community with you. Perhaps our days (or weeks) have been filled with the hustle and bustle of the season and we are shaking hands, showing up at holiday gatherings, shopping, getting our Christmas spirit on, enjoying (maybe too much) of the never-ending holiday cookies and taking in our city’s magical Christmas lights and winter wonderland. Spending time with family, friends and other loved ones is exciting but it can also present challenges. We want you to know our doors are always open and the coffee is always on.

The joy of brightening other lives, bearing each others’ burdens, easing other’s loads and supplanting empty hearts and lives with generous gifts becomes for us the magic of Christmas.” It truly is not about Presents but about PRESENCE.

This is so important to embrace and our team at Fresh Start Recovery Centre, have vowed to pause and reflect on the things that we value, cherish, appreciate and enjoy. As we reflect, we want to let you know that our thoughts extend toward you and your family. We are thankful to be part of a movement that is impacting lives and that continues to create a loving recovery community and family that includes you. We are honoured to be able to share our lives, work, and service together with you in joy and love.

We wish you and your’s Season’s Greetings, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a Safe and Happy New Year filled with gratitude!

Many Blessings,

The Fresh Start Staff, Board Members, Residents, Alumni and Volunteers.

Mission Fit

Ron Jarrett, owner of Mission Fitness is what a committed and helpful community partner is all about. He trains the clients in the house weekly and believes that true strength and progress can only be made from a solid foundation.  That foundation includes alignment, mobility and stability, and must address any muscular imbalances, weaknesses and lack of connection.  Achieving this level means the body is able to progress safely without fear of injury. www.missionfit.ca
